It also has two settings for upright cleaning—bare floor or carpeting—and its lift-away design is convenient for tackling areas like stairs. This vacuum performs well on all types of flooring, but it doesn’t have a self-cleaning brush roll. As such, long strands of hair will get tangled up in the floor head—something to keep in mind if you have long-haired pets.

The design isn’t just for show; it does a good job of sucking up dirt and empties easily. However, its small size means a small capacity, with the dust bin holding just 2.6 ounces of debris, which fills up quickly. The battery takes 2.5 hours to charge and runs for less than 10 minutes. Bottom line: The Wandvac is great for quick fixes and stows away easily, but for big messes, you’ll need something larger with more power.

It’s able to detect what type of floor you’re cleaning and how much dirt is present, and it automatically adjusts its suction power for optimal performance and better battery life. The cordless vacuum can run for up 70 minutes, depending on the setting and attachment.

This cordless stick vacuum has a dual-brushroll floorhead that picks up large debris and fine particles, and the wand bends in the middle, allowing you to clean underneath low-profile furniture more easily. However, the vacuum is fairly top-heavy to use, and it can’t stand up on its own, which can be inconvenient if you have to pause while cleaning.
