Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with a corruption case linked to the Delhi Excise Policy. The arrest occurred at Tihar Jail, where Kejriwal has been held since June 2.

Kejriwal’s legal woes began when the ED detained him on March 21, alleging money laundering tied to irregularities in the Delhi Excise Policy. Despite securing interim bail from the Supreme Court in May to participate in electoral campaigns, Kejriwal voluntarily returned to Tihar Jail at the start of June.
